Stone Imperial Russian Stout - Due Out Next Week!

Looks like Stone Brewing is giving us all a St.Patty’s day present this year!
One of America’s favorite stouts, Stone’s Imperial Russian Stout is being released this year on March 17th. This brew is a consistent winner from year to year, and gets great respect from both the BeerAdvocate and Ratebeer review boards.
Since Stone’s RIS is a deep and powerful beer, it should be no surprise that it’s perfect for cellaring. Stone brewing even has some tasting notes from previous vintages posted on their website, in case you had any doubts.
Be sure to grab some of this brew while you can, it won’t last long!

Unfortunately, Stone IRS is not as rare as Dark Lord, and so the beeradvocate/ratebeer toolbags will not rate it as high. A shame; it is truly a wonderful beer and it ages better than anything I have in my cellar.
