Happy Friday Everyone! I’ve come across some recent cellaring stuff on the web, and I just felt the need to share. Enjoy!
On the most recent of their always entertaining and informative podcasts, the Speaking of Beer guys have also included a “beer geek moment” dedicated to cellaring beer. Be sure to check them out if you haven’t done so yet!
Carolyn Smagalski of BellaOnline writes about Winter Warmers - 20 Must Haves for the Beer Cellar. Nice list of beers - I wish I had them all!
Turning my attention northward, I see that Garrison Brewery in Halifax Nova Scotia (whose Imperial Pale Ale was voted the Canadian beer of the year) is cellaring 100 bottles of their Black Lager - wonder how I could get some?
Simply because I’m so jealous, I just have to include this post from Brookston Beer Bulletin detailing a recent dinner featuring what sounds like an amazing variety of cellared brews.
Finally, there’s a short little article called Your Beer Cellar in the San Jose Mercury News. Not much new info here, but it’s always nice to see cellaring get some mainstream press!
