My 10 Most Popular Beer Cellaring Pages of the Year

Hello fellow beer geeks! After digging through my Google Analytic stats for the year, I thought it would be interesting to share with everyone what the Brew Basement’s most popular pages were. I ranked the pages according to the unique number of page views that each one received. I thought the results were rather interesting!

1. 15 Strong Ales and Barleywines You Should Be Cellaring

2. 17 Porters and Stouts Perfect For Aging and Cellaring

3. What Beers Should I Cellar?

Judging by my top three pages, it’s obvious that the biggest draw here at the Brew Basement is information about what kinds of beers will age well. No big surprise there! Investigating that topic is central to everything I do here on this site, and will continue to be my focus for the foreseeable future.

4. Where Should You Cellar Your Beer? - A discussion of the most favorable environmental conditions for beer cellaring.

5. Currently In The Cellar- Judging by this page’s popularity, I’m going to try to be a little better in keeping it up over the comming year. I think it’s a good place to go in order to easily sort through all of my tasting notes.

6. 10 American Craft Beer Fall Seasonals You Should Be Cellaring - I’ll be making this into an ongoing series, releasing a new list before the start of every season. I’ll be coming out with my favorite January/February winter beers soon!

7. 12 Award-Winning American Beers For Your Cellar - First part of a two-part series (I wrote here about 10 more craft beer winners) that I’ll also be revisiting each year after each Great American Beer Festival.

8. Cellaring Basics

9. Why Stong Beers Age Well - Bringing It All Together

10. Why Cellar Beer?

The last three of my top ten pages all show that a lot of you are just coming here for some solid basic info about beer cellaring and aging. To keep this theme going, I intend to be releasing more features over the coming year about how best to ease your way in to this fun hobby.

Hope you enjoyed the list. Happy holidays!
