March Six Month Tasting Updates - Avery, Brooklyn, Corsendonk, Victory

Hello everyone! How about that Siena beating up Vandy in the NCAA tourney last Friday!
Here’s my latest round of six-month tastings. Not a bad bunch of aged brews here, I must say. One disappointment, but the others are going strong!
Corsendonk Abbey Brown Ale - A nice enough little brew, but it seems like it’s not bold enough to make it long-term.
Brooklyn Local 1 - Brooklyn’s Belgian-styled ale is a rock in the cellar so far, with little change in either way.
Avery Samael’s Oak-Aged Ale - This powerful beer is still holding strong, and may be even developing additional roasted and oaky flavors.
Victory Storm King Stout - A diminished hop presence lends more balance to this Imperial Stout, and also allows some additional flavors to pop out. Simply delicious and much easier to drink.
That’s all for now!
Jason
